HB Technologies LLC, operator of friendswith.ai (the “Service”), is an adults-only service. This policy sets out our age requirements for both the people who use the Service and the AI Characters depicted on it.

1. Users must be 18 or older

The Service is intended solely for adults aged 18 years or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher). By accessing the Service you represent and warrant that you are at least 18. We present an age gate before access and may require additional age or identity verification at any time. Accounts found to belong to minors are terminated immediately.

2. Every Character is an adult (21+) and fully synthetic

Every AI Character on the Service is computer-generated and fictional. No Character represents, is modeled on, or depicts any real human being. As a matter of policy, every Character is depicted as an adult aged 21 years or older — a deliberate margin above the legal threshold of 18.

• Every persona specification carries an explicit age of 21 or above, enforced by an automated pre-publication check.
• Generated imagery is screened, and any output that could read as youthful is quarantined and excluded.
• No content involving minors, or persons made to appear under 18, is permitted anywhere on the Service. See our Content Policy.

3. No real-person likeness

Because all imagery and personas are synthetic, no real performers are involved and the federal record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. §2257 do not apply; our position is set out in full in the 18 U.S.C. §2257 Statement. The Service does not generate or host the likeness of any real, identifiable person, including celebrities and public figures.

4. User-submitted images

Where users may upload their own photographs, each user represents that they are the adult shown, that any other adult depicted has consented, and that no minor appears. Uploaded content is subject to the same prohibited-content screening and to removal.

5. Reporting and enforcement

If you believe any Character or content depicts or suggests a minor, report it immediately via the in-app Report tool or at trust@friendswith.ai. Such reports receive priority review.

6. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
