Anti-Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement

Last updated: June 29, 2026 · HB Technologies LLC

This statement is made by HB Technologies LLC, operator of friendswith.ai (the “Service”), and sets out the steps we take to ensure that modern slavery, human trafficking, forced or compulsory labor, and child labor have no place in our business or our supply chain. It is made in the spirit of the principles underlying the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and comparable laws.

1. Zero-tolerance commitment

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective controls to ensure that slavery and trafficking are not taking place anywhere in our operations or supply chain.

2. Our business and supply chain

The Service provides conversational experiences with fully AI-generated, fictional Characters. We do not employ, contract, or host real performers, and no real person engages in sexually explicit conduct on the Service. Our supply chain is therefore composed primarily of technology and professional-services vendors, including cloud and infrastructure providers, AI model and dataset providers, payment processors, and individual contractors and developers.

3. Risk assessment

Because we engage no performers and operate a synthetic-content model, our direct human-trafficking exposure is low. We nonetheless assess risk across our vendor base and contractor relationships, with particular attention to labor practices of suppliers operating in higher-risk jurisdictions, and to any content that could depict or facilitate trafficking or exploitation.

4. Supplier and contractor due diligence

  • We expect suppliers and contractors to comply with applicable anti-slavery and labor laws and to extend equivalent expectations to their own supply chains.
  • We favor reputable, established vendors and may decline or terminate relationships where we identify a credible risk of forced labor, trafficking, or child labor.
  • Contractor engagements are with adults, on lawful terms, with fair and agreed compensation.

5. Content-level safeguards

Content that depicts or facilitates trafficking, sexual slavery, the buying or selling of persons, or any non-consensual conduct is strictly prohibited and is blocked by our layered moderation controls. See our Content Policy and our CSAM, Non-Consensual & Illegal Content Procedure.

6. Training and awareness

Personnel involved in operations, moderation, and procurement are made aware of modern-slavery and trafficking risks, of the indicators to watch for, and of how to escalate a concern.

7. Reporting and whistleblower mechanism

Anyone — staff, contractor, vendor, or member of the public — who suspects modern slavery or human trafficking connected to our business may report it confidentially to compliance@friendswith.ai. Reports may be made anonymously, and we prohibit retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith.

8. Governance and review

This statement is owned by the company’s management and is reviewed at least annually and updated as our business or obligations change.
